René Avilés Fabila
received one of the major awards of the journal Synthesis (Puebla, Tlaxcala, Hidalgo), the "Alux to Eminence." I was also given to the artist José Lazcarro, winner of the Biennial FEMSA and the family of Gilberto Bosques, a distinguished intellectual and diplomat during the difficult years of the Civil War of Spain helped save the countless Republican fascism. This is the issue number 18 of such awards. Others who have received are José Emilio Pacheco, Carlos Monsivais and Elena Poniatowska.
