On Friday July 23, 2010, the Morelos Writers Society paid tribute to René Avilés Fabila in the auditorium of the Faculty Medical UAEM in Cuernavaca. Writers participated Marcela del Rio, Dionisio Morales, Ethel Krauze, Citlali Ferrer. The moderator was the president of the Society of Writers of Morelos Ruben Pizano, who presented him with a beautiful certificate for his 70 years of age and 50 of literary creation.
